Dear Students,
The future belongs to you. You need to prepare yourself for active participation in the world. This participation demands that you become well informed, develop yourself like a pioneer and ultimately grow as responsible men and woman.
When I say all this, I mean in the words of Rudyard Kipling that:
“If you can walk with crowds and keep your virtues
Or walk with kings – nor loose the common touch
Yours is the earth and everything that’s in it,
And what’s more you will be a MAN, my son. “
I believe, this will certainly empower you to understand my intentions and what I expect from all of you when you leave the portals of school premises.
Hence, inculcate a planned life- where sense of values, time and commitment must matter more than anything else. Be a dreamer and a performer, never be taken away either by sense of defeat or victory. Participate almost in every school activity. Learn to take the pressure of all kinds of competition. Never retreat from a great cause or action , just because you are not able to perceive the goal or immediate objectives. Do not follow the whims and fancies of others, blindly.
Always think and review – discover the cause and effect of every event, where you had been involved. Never speak ill at the back of a person. Do not surrender or become a slave to youthful fancies and indulgences.
Listen to your elder and all those who matter in your student life. Be reasonable and polite, but never argue. Try to be honest at all cost and learn the great act of humility. Be respectful to your elders. Reach the old and velnerable not with pity but with regard and compassion.
